Jingles Prorituals Professional Hair Color Cream does require a developer to activate the color. The developer (also known as peroxide or oxidizing agent) is mixed with the color cream to open the hair cuticle and deposit the color into the hair shaft.

You’ll typically use a developer strength based on your desired result:

• 10 Volume: For darkening hair or toning

• 20 Volume: For gray coverage and 1-2 levels of lift

• 30 Volume: For 2-3 levels of lift

• 40 Volume: For high-lift coloring (not recommended for all hair types)
