How to Use:

Goldwell Pre-Pigmentation does not require a developer.

It is applied directly to the hair, either on dry or towel-dried strands, depending on the product type (liquid or cream), and is not mixed with peroxide. Its purpose is to reintroduce the missing underlying pigment before applying the final hair color.

After applying the pre-pigmentation, you follow with your desired Goldwell color formula (which does require a developer), and the two work together to ensure even and natural-looking results—especially when going darker on previously lightened or porous hair.
